A really pretty chandelier in brass with glistening crystals, glass and delightful blue tolewearflowers .

It has a deep bell shaped ceiling rose and the suspension post below joins to a large round hook at the top of the central column with a single chain link.

Thebeautiful central column comprises two large inverted sections of barley twist glass that taper down in width giving a very elegant silhouette. Separating the two is a brass ring from which extend six delicate arcs, each with a charming pale washed blue toleflower at the tip. They have a lovely crinkled flowerenclosing a brass centreto which is attached a shimmering pair of button and icicle crystal drops.

Thesixslender arms extend from a plate above the base of the light. In an elongated S shape they each have a pair of multi-faceted ball and large thick polygonal cut crystals suspended. Between each arm is set another of the delicate flowered spurs, complete with shimmering crystals. At the end ofthe arms the candle cups are supported by pale blue daisy shapes and the cups themselves are glass barley twist scallops thatmatch the central column to give a very harmonious overall look.All are complete with faux candle sleeves.

The base of the chandelier is in a large shallow bowl shape with two sections of discreet fluting encircling it, in the centre is a daisy that matches the candle cup supports and a final set of crystals, comprising two small multi-faceted and one very large clear balls, is suspended from a brass finial in the centre.

It is inexcellent vintage condition with the brass having a warm golden glow that is perfectly reflected in the exquisite array of crystal drops.

This very appealing chandelier has a lovely airy quality about it and the charming addition of the flowers give it a remarkable spring like allure and the remarkable attention to detail would light up any home with vintage French style.
