Description Gorgeous antique vintage French sterling silver lamb cutlet bone holder or “manche à gigot” serving implement.The upper part is silverplated, the pincer adjustable with the original clover shaped screw. In very good condition. No dents, damage or repairs to note.
Holder: 9.05\" / 23 cm - long x 2.36\" / 6 cm wide with screw. Weight: 167gr.
Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark, which depicts the goddess Minerva with a number 1 beside her to denote a silver content of 950/1000 (of 95% pure silver and a higher finesse than .925 sterling).The second punch is the goldsmith punch but I can\'t define the goldsmith I think read E.Z or C.Z nothing sure.Please use zoom function to check details as photos are also part of the description.Feel free to contact us with any questions or requests for additional information.
