This is a fine old violin labeled: \"Hannibal Fagnola fecit Taurini anno Domini 1923\".

The instrument remains in good condition with one minor repaired crack close to the tailpiece. Ready to play with new ebony set up, good bridge and Dominant strings. The sound is fantastic powerful, deep, rich. Suitable for a soloist. The length of back is 358 mm. The whole length is 590 mm. Full size.

Two pieces back of beautiful flamed maple wood, the ribs and scroll are made ofthe same material that is exceptionally beautiful, the top is made of a high grained spruce. The original varnish is very rich and has a golden reddish brown color, only it has minorscratches and dents through use.
