This is asensational Gorham Sterling SilverOrnate1890\'sBacchus Punch or Soup Ladle.

It\'s 15\" long and the bowl is 5\" across. It weighs 265 grams or 9.3 ounces.

This rare ladle is pictured in \"Warman\'s 2003 Sterling Flatware Guide\", page 1157.

The ornate handle is topped with the figural head of Bacchus, the god of wine. Below are grapes, leaves and a series of bellflowers. The back of the handle has grapes, leaves, vines and the Gorham hallmarkwith \"Sterling H28\".

This stunning ladle is in like new condition with no damage, repairs, monograms or removals.It\'s polished to a brilliant shine and ready to use!
