Time to reluctantly sell the family silver. On offer is a lovely Gorham Plymouth sterling silver five piece tea and coffee service. Each piece is inscribed with an elegant gothic \"H\" monogram and the reverse of each piece is inscribed with the date of a long ago anniversary \"April 28, 1909\".All are clearly marked \"sterling\" and bear with the Gorham mark.The wooden handles and finials are in excellent well care-fored condition. The coffee pot stands 9\" from base to the top of its finial and is 9 1/2\" from the tip of the elegant spout to the outer edge of the handle. The teapot stands 6\" from base to the top of the finial and is 10 1/2\" from the tip of its spout to the outer edge of the handle. The sugar bowl stands 5 1/2\" from base to the top of its finial and is 7 1\'2\" handle to handle. The creamer is 5 3/4\" at its tallest point and is 5 1/2\" from handle to spout. The waste bowl is 3 3/4\" at its tallest point and 5 1/4\" at its widest and has two small dents on one end. Please see the pictures. The combined weight of the five pieces is an impressive 60.9 ounces on my postal scale.
