EARLY sterling silver asparagus serving fork in the highly sought after and ornate Versailles pattern by Gorham. The length is 9 1/8”. The condition is wonderful; the pattern is clear. The back of the handle is as ornate as the the front, except where the figures are on the front, there is a cartouche which was never monogrammed. The marks are COPYRIGHTED - the old Gorham hallmarks (lion, anchor, G) - STERLING.
