I have seen some mighty nice pieces of \"Alaska Pipeline Art\" in my 40+ years in Fairbanks, but thisone is quite exceptional.

First, because it is the perfect size for a paper weight, and second, it can just stand on the mantle and be art, or a remembrance of Alaska.

It measures 10\" at the base and 7\" tall. The colors are not there there like in the picture, something in the flash made them appear. It is a dark steel color with thegold stars that may be painted on.

In any case, it is pure art from an industrial viewpoint!

Weighs about seven pounds.

Made from a piece of the Alaska Pipeline, of course....and a wonderful gift for your boss...or husband...or the welder in the family who is an artist. Or anyone who worked on the Alaska Pipeline project.
