Great Sailing Ships of History ~ Lot of Two (2) Five Mini-Ingot Sets, Franklin Mint, Solid Sterling 🛳

Up for sale is a five (5) mini-ingot set of the Great Sailing Ships of History 🛳. Put out by the Franklin Mint in 1976, these five (5) mini-ingots are made of solid Sterling silver. (I can’t give you the weight of the mini-ingots. I would have to take apart the set and I would never be able to get it back together again.) Each mini-ingot is 2 cm (7/16”) wide by 1½ cm (¾”) high. On the back of each mini-ingot is engraved the object/name of the ship featured and 925/100 (sterling silver) and FM ⓒ 𝚏 76.

The ten Great Sailing Ships of these two sets are, in no particular order, 1) a Greek Merchantman, 2) a Greek Trireme, 3) a Roman Grain Ship, 4) an Osberg Ship, 5) William the Conquerer’s Mora, 6) a Caravel, 7) a Hansa Cog, 8) the Henry Grace à Dieu, 9) the Grande Hermine, and 10) the Santa Maria. This is a good chance to learn some nautical history.

These are in brand new condition except for slight edge damage and a minor bend to one of the corners of one of the cardboard holders of a set. The mini-ingots have not been damaged as far as I can see.
