A Greek black glazed terracotta trefoil mouthed oinochoe (chous) decorated in red figure style. Depiction of a standing nude young male holding a stick (an athlete holding a spear?). The reverse constitutes a plain black slip. With hard deposits all around. Very thin walled vessel.

Rare piece.


Period:4th Century B.C.
Condition:Intact with small chips at the rim, with paint/slip losses.
