This leaf of early printing froma Biblia Graeca, Old Testament (Septuagint),First Book of EzraChapters 8-9 and was printed by W. Kopfel in Strasbourg in theyear 1526. Originally from volume 2 of a 4 volume set the leafis from the third edition of the complete Greek Bible edited byJohannes Lonicerus (Lonitzer). The octavo paper leaf measures162 x 99 mm. in totality and contains thirty lines of Greek typeprinted single column with versal indent and guide letter. TheVersocontains the same amount of lines and type. (Darlow & Moule4602) The leaf contains minor staining along the edges not affectingthe text.
