After almost a month of work, this bell has been totally refirbished from its original state. When i got the bell, It was almost necesarry to break the bell by welding parts off. The bell was in such bad shape the rust and the corrosion had basically paralyzed the bell. After gutting it and repainting the inside, cleaning the parts, and bondoing the surface, the bell began to look proper. I put it back together many times with many failed attempts but despite all of the flaws, this bell is magnificent yet still has that classical sound and shape. The bell was built by Griswold in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the 40\'s ot even 50\'s and i can tell by the sound and the figure of the bell, which differs from older models. The price may be hefty necause of all the work and money was used to restore it, along with a shipping price which will also most likely be big, since the bell is made of iron. I also am including the 180 dollars i spent on the bell. But honestly, this is a great intercept because not many of these are around anymore, hence the value and rarity of them as far as I know.Restored by railroad bell restoration corperationUPDATE!
