This is a # 8 Griswold CLOWS waffle iron in excellent condition. The CLOWS name is what the Griswold co. named the first round swivel type hinge, this model was its premier debut of the round (CLOWS) hinge. I have never seen another one. It is in excellent conditionwith a low profile base, sits flat, no cracks or warps. Ready to hang on wall for display or cook delicious home made waffles on. there are a couple tiny black specks on outside from past seasoning no other marks. This is a very nice item any Griswold collector would be happy to add to their collection.
