Welcome to AUDREYSTIME

This is the remainder of a collection of medals of the late Lt. Col. William H. Costlow of Clarksburg, WV. Costlow retired from the 201st Infantry or Artillery, West Virginia National Guard. We have been able to track him thru the ranks and he appeared to be an outstanding rifleman and leader. He served in WWI and WWII. During WWII, as Capt., Costlow moved with the 201st from West Virginia to Kodiak Island, Alaska. After 33 years of service he retired Lt. Col. and was burried in 1983 in uniform.
Included there is the WWII Victory Medal w/ribbon, American Defense Medal w/ribbon with star, Asiaric Pacific ribbon, and the 3rd ribbon I\'ve not been able to id. There are 2 US National Match medal, 1929 & 1937, both ribbons are in poor condition.
The last photo is of the collection from which these items came. All others have sold.
