All the clocks I currently have listed were part of a collection Ipurchased and decided to perform some maintenance and breathe some more lifeinto them. The clock is in full working condition unless otherwise statedbelow. Well, let me first start by saying that I am veryreluctant and apprehensive about letting this one go. The reason I am isbecause I already own three other antique fox/grapes already, you can’t keepthem all!! This is an absolutely stunning, beautiful, magnificent clock up foryour consideration. Just today, several people stopped by today and the firstthing they said was: “WOW!! Now that, is a nice clock”!!!

Hubert Herr, in myopinion is hands down, the number one premiere cuckoo mfg in existence today,He is also the only mfg that designs and constructs his own movements in houseas well. The carvings on this clock are not your average run of the mill, highproduction clocks available today. These carvings are deep, full relief, sharp,thick carvings, just like the antique ones. These carvings were done with someof the finest modern craftsmanship available today.

As stated in the headline, this is a brand new, neverused, NOS or “New old stock” HH clock in it’s original shipping carton. Thisclock, I was told by the previous owner were purchased from the wife of aformer clock shop owner that sadly, had passed away. He also stated that thisclock was a special order clock by request only from Hubert Herr and was neverpicked up by the buyer and retailed for $1600 and He was told that this clock wasmarketed in the early 2000’s.

I am just in love with the color stain on thisclock, a deep rich red mahogany stain, just perfect color balance, absolutelybeautiful!! Full relief carvings on thisclock, maple leaves doubled on top of one another, fine sharp detail in the foxand especially his nice long tail!! Fine, sharp detail in the bird up top andgrape clusters surrounding the clock as well. Nice, large bellow pipes for thatdeep sound, this baby is ready to rock and roll, begging to be finally hung upand put to use. This clock is also a very large clock by today’s standards,very impressive size indeed at 27\" Tall and 19\" Wide. It will certainly make an impact and portray acommanding presence in any room you choose to display it in.

Thisis a great clock I’m sure you’ll be happy with for years to come. Although thisclock is NOS and DOES NOT require any cleaning, I think it may benefit fromsome fresh lubrication, which I will be happy to perform for thewinning buyer,attheir request only, free of charge of course, my pleasure. I like to let go ofthese clocks in better condition than I receive them. This clock is perfect inevery way shape and form.
