HALLMARKED VINTAGE SOLID SILVER MOUNTED BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER, HYMNS A&M - 1928:

Here we have a vintage Book of Common Prayer, Hymns A&M.
It has a solid silver English hallmarked mounted cross of the
front, which bears the makers mark \'WSLD\', the date letter \'n\'
for 1928, the lion denoting sterling silver, and the panthers
head for London.Please view the pictures, as all should be shown in detail.The book has \'ivorine\' type material as front, back and spine
covering.There is a brief written inscription inside the front cover. It
reads \'With all my love To Mabs from Billy Easter 1929\'.CONDITION.The silver cross would have been gilded originally, however
a lot has worn away. It could be polished off completely.
The book is intact and despite some wear is in lovely condition
for it\'s age. The blank pages at the front and rear have \'foxing\'
on them, but the pages of text are fine.Lovely vintage item.I have lots of intersting silver listed in my shop; please take a
