Hamilton Watch Co. 18 size 17 jewel open face lever-set pocketwatch movement/dial. Private label signed \"W.M.Shlaes, Special, Hancock Mich.\" on the movement and signed \"W.M. Shlaes, Special\" on the sunk-seconds enamel dial. Nice looking movement with an attractive fancy nickel damaskeen. Serial number is 440504.

Not running. Balanceis gummy and mainspring seems likely broken or slipped. Nice looking movementwith good color and luster but does have scratches around the casescrew areas. Dial has some scratches inthe seconds-bit and also a small edge flake at the lever-set area. Posts for hands are present but show some surface rust.
