The revolutionary Hans Adjustable offers an all new design for vastly superior comfort regardless of the driver or vehicle set-up. The Adjustable can be easily adapted to any driver's torso through a unique system that allows for adjustments in 5-degree increments from 10-40 degrees. No longer do you have to purchase your Hans Device based on seat-angle and torso fit - One device can be adjusted for just about any driver or car! The device is made by an injection molding process using a metal alloy for strength, and a fire-resistant nylon coating. Metal fasteners that employ Spiralock technology enable a driver to adjust the legs of the HANS to alter the angle of the collar in five-degree increments:At 970 grams, the Adjustable is lighter then the original Sport model (1,100 grams). All Adjustable models feature Hans' Sliding Tether system, allowing a comfortable, fuller range of motion.• Device adjusts in 5 degree increments, from 10 to 40 degrees

FIA is the European standard for safety equipment certifications.

It’s not uncommon for racing equipment to be certified by both the FIA and SFI, but many times its one or the other.

Our HANS Devices are all rated SFI and many are SFI & FIA Rated. Please review product title to determine certification ratings.

SFI is required in the United States at most tracks, in most forms of racing. If other sellers are not advertising SFI they probably are not rated and using unrated equipment will likely fail tech safety inspection in the United States. Specs:

Return Policy:

• Any defective item may be exchanged for the exact same item within 30 days of purchase only. Most products that we sell come with a full 1 year warranty. If your product becomes defective after the 30 day exchange period, we will either send your item out for repair or exchange the item at our discretion. Our customer is responsible for incurring any necessary shipping costs to return the defective item back to us. We will cover any shipping charges to return your new replacement item back to our you at no additional charge.

• A return authorization number must be issued by us before any products are accepted for return or exchange. Items without a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package will be refused. Please email us directly for your return authorization number.

• Most times, if a purchase was made in error or if you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason you may return your purchase to us, once you have gone through the return authorization procedure, within 30 days of the original purchase date. There are certain products that do not qualify for this 30 day return Policy. If concerned, please email us to see if the product in question qualifies before making your purchase.

• A 15% restocking fee will be assessed on any return for credit or refund and shipping charges will not be refunded, with no exceptions. Any item being returned for either credit or exchange must be in like-new condition and must be returned with all original manufacturer\'s packaging and packing materials, and must include all accessories and manuals that were originally included. Any item received back that is not returned in this condition will be refused at the buyer\'s expense and your return authorization number will become invalid.
