Special is that this clock has a skeleton movement, giving it its
TRANSLUCENT character, when both side doors are opened.
The side door also can simply be removed..
Special too are the choice of coulours and the use of materials, among which,
RED COPPER.
The chime is extraordinary clear, by means of a strike on a LARGE BELL, on
half and full hours.
On half hours it strikes once, and on full hours it strikes an amount of times,
corresponding with the time at that moment.
The details are well overthought....
The weights hang on thick chains, lifted by a PULLEY, when pulling one end of
the chain, resulting in a minimum force needed, to lift up the weights.
The movement is in a PERFECT working order, made by Hermle, Germany.
The COMPLETE Clock comes in various kinds of metal; all with their own
charme.
The round appearance of this time piece is leading.
There are Brass weights, hanging underneath the clock, with RED COPPER
Nails in them.
The small nut, holding the hands in place, comes in RED COPPER too!
Besides the amazing shape, theclock has an incredible weight,
exceeding 12 Kg\'s!
There are Black, Roman hour marks and Arabic 5 minute number marks on the dial.
The dial itself comes in enamel and is in an IMPECCABLE condition.
The BRONZE HANDS, are beautifully shaped...
The clock runsgreat and keeps accurate time thanks to its pendulum
drivenmovement.
This clock is 100% Original.
This clock has passed time almost without cosmetic issues; like90% of all
Comtoise clocks of this kind, the Weights and pendulum have dents in them.
