HIGH STYLE SUIT FOR A LITTLE BOY
A spiffy outfit for your spiffy toddler, this original Gimbels Bros. knee-pant suit is made of cotton velvet for elegant durability ~ what every little Victorian-era boy needed. Stylish and of the period, the jacket is decorated in passementerie trim. There are double piped slits at the back hem. The sleeves have their original buttons at the wrists. The jacket is lined in polished cotton and the sleeves are lined in a dapper striped cotton. The knee-pants have the original buttons to the waist and the knees, along with the original silk satin ribbon at each leg hem. Jacket ~ 14” long center back neck to hem; 10” shoulder span across back; 23” chest ~ jacket has no button closure as designed ~ made to be worn open; pants 14” long, waist 24”, inseam 7”. Sleeve length from shoulder seam to hem of sleeve is 14 1/2\". Each sleeve has a hem of a shade over 1\" wide. Label Inside Jacket \"Gimbel Brothers\" \"Milwaukee Philadelphia New York\". There is also a vintage dry cleaning label still attached. All in sound, clean and thoroughly presentable condition. Can be worn with confidence and displayed with pride.
