Here\'s a vintage brass AT & SF 2-8-0 #1900 class steam loco from Samhongsa of Korea.

Importer was Sunset Models in the 1990s.

It is factory-painted in black (no road name or numbers), has a Japanese can motor, and

comes with the original box. It has Kadee couplers added front and rear. Never dropped.

Has a few very small paint chips where the brass shows through. The box is in good shape

with a few minor shelf abrasions, and has all original foam pieces and two plastic bags.

It saw average use on a mid-1990s layout for two or three years, and has been in its box

in climate-controlled storage since 1999.

It is pre-digital and is thus DC power. There should be plenty of room in the tender to add

modern DCC and sound electronics. It once had after-market 1990s synthesized sound, so

the tender bottom was cut out for a speaker and a four-lobe \"chuff\" cam was added to the

third driver axle to synchronize that sound system. That sound system stopped working and

was removed long ago. There\'s still an on/off switch on the tender, a tiny plug socket under

the cab, and a few wire stubs which probably won\'t be needed now.

The headlight is wired 1990s style (capacitor?) but no longer works and has no lens.

One screw is missing where the rear cab attaches to the frame.

The brake shoe framework is included, but the two tiny attachment screws are missing.

It is clean and tested on code 100 track and a Peco small-radius turnout.

With a drop of Labelle 107 recently added to the motor bearings, it runs smoothly.

Gearbox might need a little lube after the long storage.
