Hifolks, this is not a reproduction with a weak attempt to make it lookold. You rarely find a non thumb latch handle of this size that isnot a reproduction. This is heavy duty and very well made and nothinglike the cheaply made imports of today that use some type of cheappot metal. The measurements were taken at the attachment base: about9” long x 2 1/4” wide at the ends and 1 1/16 wide where you gripit. The grasp has about a 4 3/4” grip opening or what I would callan average size hand 4 finger pull. The condition is good with someold black paint and dings and rust and pitting from age and usage.Mypictures are large because I not only want to tell what you\'regetting but I want to see what you\'re getting.
NOTE: Be very careful when buying antique hardware. I\'m seeing more reproductions showing up at flea markets and sales thanever before. Remember, if it\'s too good to be true....
About half of what I sell on is antique hardware most of which I bought before was even someone\'s dream. First I bought it for the Victorian home I had and then I just started buying it because I liked it.

SHIPPING POLICY!
My shipping policy is all items will ship out within 24 hours of receiving payment. I ship within 24 hours Monday through Friday every time, if I don\'t then you might want to send flowers. If your item is bought on a Saturday and I\'m at work I will take it to the post office inside drop off box that day/night so they have it to process first thing Sunday or Monday. I don\'t ship with newspaper and a prayer; I use quality materials and care. Newspaper is only used as filler but never as the main source of protection.
NOTE:
I don\'t know if this came from a smoke free home or not. The fact is almost all antiques came out of a home that someone smoked in at one time.
