ITEM: Very well made vintage/antique large hand woven Chinese winnowing or drying basket or tray. This piece of folk art is hand woven and appears to be made of a bamboo or rattan like natural material with a very old, original applied brown finish to protect the material, as pictured.

WHEN MADE: Early 1900s

SIZE: Approximately 27 1/2\" across x 1 1/4\" thick

CONDITION: Normal cosmetic wear from age and very sturdy/solid with a few minor chips to the splits as pictured. One of the wrapped bands on the rim of the basket is broken but still in place. Aging patina/darkening to the woven bamboo.
