Up for your consideration is this SPECTACULAR antique Chinese jadeite ring! It is features a LARGE oval cabochon of icy jadeite which is set in solid 14k yellow gold. The color of this jade is light bright green, and very reminiscent of a beautiful drop of green ocean water frozen in time. This stone seems to glow from within and is absolutely fabulous! This jadeite is type \'A\' untreated and all natural. The setting takes on an egg-like form when viewed from the side, reminding one of a Fabergé egg. The jadeite cabochon is approximately 21mm long by 15mm wide. This piece is not hallmarked, but tests positive for solid 14k gold. It is a size 8-8 1/4, but could easily be re-sized by your preferred and trusted jeweler. Total weight is 9.2 grams or 46 carats total weight. It is in SUPERB antique condition!
