HUGE Vintage Chinese Red Langyao Moon Flask Garlic Head Porcelain Vase:

Up for sale is this HUGE Chinese oxblood red langyao porcelain moon flask vase with Suantouping garlic head mouth and two stylized side handles.

The glaze is gorgeous throughout and interior is white and crackled as shown in photo. I do not see any cracks or chips, perhaps just minor surface wear. Base is unglazed and glaze drip is thick as shown on the buildup to bottom side. Handles have two production holes underneath - these are original to its creation and likely needed to ensure the heat from the oven did not affect the shape.

Perhaps a mid-20th C example, possibly older.

It is a very large and beautiful work of Chinese porcelain art! Weighs over 16 lbs unboxed!

Measures 16.2” inches tall, 14” inches long and 11” inches wide (41.1 cm, 35.6 cm, 27.9 cm).

Would make a fantastic display piece, fine addition to a collection, or a great gift!
