Description: This is a very hard to find collie dog made by Hagen Renaker, from their Pedigree Dogs line. This is \"Gaylord\", style one. He is about 3 3/8\" high x 5\" long. It retains the original black and gold paper label which reads: HAGEN-RENAKER GAYLORD 19(C)53.He was only made during 7 of the years from 1954-1964, then again in 1970.So you don\'t see it for sale very often. This is not only from the earlier, Monrovia, years, it is from the very earliest years. This dog has a longer tongue, the mold was later reworked to shorten the tongue, only the earliest dogs have the long tongue. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. I could find only minimal crazing with a magnifying glass. Please see all photos which can be enlarged greatly to show the details of this great dog!

I purchased this and a number of other dogs I am/will be listing from an estate of a nearly 90 year old woman who had collected dogs (& many other things!). She kept them in glass cabinets. Most of the dogs I purchased from the estate were from the 1940-1950\'s or earlier and in excellent condition.
