DESCRIPTION:

The Red-Headed Woodpeckeris #5 in the series.Pictures taken with a ruler in place to give you a better idea as to the size of the ornament. This would be a great addition to any Hallmark ornament collection or for any bird lover you know.

This is ahandcrafted - handpainted ornament - each bird is unique andit is possible that there are subtlevariations in the colorations on the birds issued. This is normal with handpainted items - no two are alike. It is possible with handpainted items that you will find a stray paint mark here or there and you may find paint a little \'light\' in some areas or you may find where paint has dripped during the process. The lines may be wider or not as wide and they may or may not be straight. This happens during the manufacturing process. It is very difficult to find the \'perfect\' bird ornament that you may be looking for. We will doour best to point out any flaws thatwe see. However, our eyes and your eyes may see different things and you may see somethingwe miss or vice versa.

Defects Present: *See the pictures - keep in mind that these are close up pictures so that you can see the defects and/or painting errors. This Red-Headed Woodpecker has a sloppy paint job overall. The paint lines are not straight with some areas missing paint,other areas the paint that should have been on the line is outside of the line, drip and drops of paint outside the lines and inside the lines, etc.

*We have taken these pictures using a Hallmark ornament stand. The stand is not included in the listing (only onewe have) - you are offerding on the beautiful bird only.We do not use stock photos. The bird and box shown in the listingare the bird and box you will receive.

*Hallmark is once again packing ornaments (some of them - not all of them)in tissue paper -thisornament is in a plastic insert in the box - no tissue paper inthe box.

With his brilliant red hood and striking black wings, this woodpecker\'s really quite showy. He hammers a hole in a tree or a post where he stashes his snacks when its snowy! Fifth in the Series. This Hallmark Keepsake Ornament was designed and sculpted by Edythe Kegrize, Hallmark Keepsake Artist. Hallmark ornaments are not recommended for children under the age of 8.

International buyers - I do not ship Internationally:
I no longer shipInternationally due to the following reasons. #1 - requires priority shipping only due to tracking ability - most buyers want the lowest ship cost possible- Internationally that would be 1st class for which - there is no tracking available. - Paypal requires us to ship with tracking or there is no coverage for the buyer or the seller - otherwise - 1st class shipping would be fine with me. #2 - Priority ship cost is high - only way to get tracking- but youdo get the item in 6-10 days.#3 - Although I have had very good experiences shipping Internationally due to wonderful buyers - therewill always be some who willselect 1st class and then post in response that it sure took a long time to getthe item.#4 - I don\'t want to take any chancesby shipping without any tracking - it\'s worrisome. #5 - It takes much longer at the Post Office to shipan item Internationally.
