A charming antique silver cayenne pepper pot.

• With full hallmarks for Sheffield 1895.

• The word Cayenne is inlaid into the base with red enamel.

• Both the lid and the base are stamped \'12\' showing that the piece completely matches.

• Each piece also has full hallmarks.

The bottom of the pot has become slightly misshapen through the years of use but remains completely flat and stable on the table. The lid is very slightly loose so would require a very small repair to tighten it for use. Alternatively I think using a small amount of pepper that doesn\'t place enough pressure to dislodge the lid rather than have a full pot would work perfectly fine.
