Jennifer with her Jump Rope byANRI Sarah KayHand Carved Hand Painted Jointed Wooden Doll from ItalyShe is 14\"tall, 6 1/2\" wide and 4\" in depth.Hand painted ANRI wooden doll from Italy, fully articulated. Jennifer comes with her own jump rope and certificate. Feet are marked.Jennifer is dressed in a brown dotted swiss dress and a white and rust printed pinafore. The pinafore has lace at collar and bottom ruffle. She has brown/auburn hair in two pigtails tied up with brown bows. Her eyes are grey and she has freckles on her nose. She holds her very own red jump rope with wood handles. Every aspect of Jennifer exhibits beautiful hand carving, from her hands to her brown shoes-- every detail is perfect. She is fully jointed. It is hard to believe she is made of wood. Her coloring too is exquisite, due to hand painting. If you look at the bottom of her shoes, the ANRI metal button is mounted on one shoe and the logo Design Valentine and Sarah Kay is printed on the other. She was purchased in 1988 at one of Rome\'s great toy shop, The Berte Toy Shop in Piazza Navona, Rome, Italy.
I’ve inherited a lot of cute-n-quirky stuff recently, and I simply don’t have the room for all of it. There are lots of darling dolls, vintage china, odd collections of paperweights, books on all kinds of topics and postage stamps from many places.
