Hand Painted Tintype Baby Girl Red Velvet Colored Chair & Sash Gold Ring 7 X 10\"Here is something I know nothing about, but that is one of the things I love about , it forces me to learn. My research informed me that this is a tintype. It was attracted to a magnet, which I found is a way of testing. Fantastic detail, including the red velvet chair and matching sash. Gold earring and ring, with great detail to the lace on her dress. Her tiny bare feet and toes are showing at the bottom of the dress. The plate measures 7\" by 10\", so I assume that would be considered a full plate. It is currently in a frame measuring 9 3/4\" by 11 3/4\", with a gap between the edge of the plate and the round opening. It looks so nice, that I left it in there, though. I would consider this tintype as being in very good condition, but took lots of pictures so that you can decide for yourself. The red in the picture is what really draws your attention. That and the baby\'s bright eyes. If you don\'t want the frame, I can remove it and just ship the tintype at a lower rate. Payment and Shipping
