This is a hand woven wool basket made by a lady of the Kamba tribe in Kenya. The weaving and quality are phenomenal and are constructed from Sisal and wool. Wool is a very rare commodity for these ladies to have access, and a bag of this nature is highly sought after due to its durability. We currently have two of our own that we use for carrying books, going to the store, and around town. The bag is approximately 10\" tall and has a circumference of approximately 31\". Proceeds from this basket go to support the James 1:27 Project, which supports widows in Machakos Kenya with the opportunity to learn a new skill that can be used to generate money to provide for themselves and their families.
