This is a charming group of 3 handpainted Limoges miniature plates from France. The plates are about 1-1/2” in diameter. The plates are gracefully scalloped and fully edged with gold. There is no wear of damage to any of them or the gold rims. One plate shows a man standing by a young lady who is wearing early French clothing. We can imagine they are enjoying an afternoon together. The other plates are paintings of flowers. One of these plates has a bouquet of orange, pink and yellow blooms and the other highlights a blue morning glory flower.All three plates have brass stands and were previously displayed in a china cabinet for years. They have been passed down to me so I don’t have any information on when they were first purchased.Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
