This beautiful old Belouch/ Kurdish rug has tons of character! The impressive repeating 8 point stars alternating with treemotifs in a diagonal design creates movement in this floor art. The ivory wool used in the stars, produces an eye catching work and results in a 3dimensional appearance. The border design is impressive and completes the rug.This lovely hand knotted rug is in great vintage condition!! There is a small rough repair, hardly noticeable but shown in photos. There are no holes or damage otherwise. The pile is full and clean with no stains. The red and blue colors show some patina, as is common with age. It is truly a lovely piece!!!!
