As pictured, up for sale is this Vintage Pair of Framed Hansel and Gretel Lithographs. WOW!! An absolutely beautiful pair of framed vintage 1930s lithographs by the artist \"Schaus\" depicting Hansel and Gretel ! Manufactured by C & A Richards Boston, MASS. The litho\'s are approx 6 1/2\" wide X 8 1/2\" tall, and the frames are approx 10 3/8\" wide and 12 3/8\" tall. The conditionof both litho\'s is wonderful....well preserved under the frame glass. No significant UV degradation, or humidityissues on either litho.... basically vintage flawless, with just the normal dust in the nooks of theframes...anda few tiny marks in the gold colored wood (including a small scratch on the very bottom of Gretel\'s frame), but nothing to diminish the overall impressive condition. The backings have a bit of wall rub wear (clearly pictured). Both have wall hang loops. Looks as though these pictures were hung in a darkened living room and not disturbed for the next 8 decades.Gretel hasthe Schaus signature printed in the lower left.Other markings on back label are783 Gretel C & A Richards Boston, MASS. and784 Hansel C & A Richards Boston, MASS. Both labels have a few pen marked numbers which I suspect are the stock numbers used by C & A Richards. Please examine the picturesclosely for condition. Feel free to email me with any questions.
