Field Artillery Harness component; Back STRAP to hook to McClellan Cavalry Artillery Saddle on Swing Lead horse. Marked \"CLINTON 1918\", Clinton Saddlery Company Clinton, Iowa. Black harness is supple, shows no wear. All buckles ,except the crupper,have been opened and the leather run thru them during cleaning and inspection by me.This item was sold as surplus after WW11 at Jeffersonville QM Depot, I bought it from the surplus dealer who got it at the sale. Condition is good - good plus.
