The Patronus Charm is difficult, and many witches and wizards are unable to produce a full, corporeal Patronus, a guardian which generally takes the shape of the animal with whom they share the deepest affinity. You may suspect, but you will never truly know what form your Patronus will take until you succeed in conjuring it. The Patronus Charm (Expecto Patronum) is an immensely complicated, very difficult spell that evokes a partially-tangible positive energy force known as a Patronus or spirit guardian. The charm was primarily designed for defence against Dementors and Lethifolds, against which there is no other protection. Albus Dumbledore, however, invented a means of using one\'s Patronus as a messenger to other witches and wizards, and this is the method of communication that the Order of the Phoenix uses. Severus Snape, whose Patronus was that of a doe, the same as Lily. Snape was in love with Lily for most of his life. Based on the fact that Patronuses are conjured by recalling happy memories, it stands to reason that a Patronus might change its form after one falls in love and the memories used to conjure the Patronus largely revolve around the person the caster is in love with. Captured in a glass vial, is my rendition of the Patronus Charm. The liquid itself is blue and I added a special powder to make it also glow blue at night. The label is handmade and treated to look aged. It reads Expecto Patronum. I can also make the label to say Patronus if you prefer. The vial is charmed with a doe, which is the Patronus for both Snape and Lily. Inside are two pieces of rice. First piece says Snape on one side and Lily on the other. The second rice says always on one side and a heart on the other side. I can add a third piece with your name or anything you want up to 9 letters/numbers/spaces/symbols. Unlike some sellers, i do not use glow in the dark paint and/or glue. I only use high end materials. glow in the dark paint causes \"caking\" after awhile, and who would want that? Please note: Blue hue may differ slightly due to these being made one at a time. Necklace choices are either black suede or a silver tone chain. The cord is adjustable from 18-20 inches. The chain I can cut to the size you want up to 24 inches. If a necklace choice is not given, I will choose at random.
