This lovely pieceis approximately 9\" long and 7 1/2\" wide and 1 1/2\" tall. Exquisite gold trim surrounding a pattern of delicate roses. I believe this is the Manufacturers Mark H which was used between 1888 and 1896

Decorators mark is oneIcan\'t find, Haviland & Co Limoges FOR S. R. JAMES. Quite an unusualpiece I think.

The backmark is for the S. R. James Co. in Schenectady NY. It was customary for a number of years to put the retailer\'s name on goods when they placed an order.
