I have more Malcolm Fred carvings then of anyone else by no accident. He offers the greatest quality value (per price point) then any elite Hopi carver working today! This is an opinion I share with several others including the administrator of \"Ancient Nations\" which is the premier online division of \"McGees\" in Keams Canyon, Az. He credits his brothers as his teachers whom he is one of five. The Horned Owl is my favorite Kachina, for his attitude (which can be seen in the pose) and feathered face. He is the leader of the warriors & chief disciplinarian of the clowns & mudheads in the dances. I hate parting with him. This caving has nice detail down to the leather, looking, robe. I\'m pricing this to sell & of course it cost me more then the asking price & if any are thinking of waiting I won\'t be going lower. Hope you like it! I have included a picture of his \"signature\" on which I have been questioned before for authenticity. I assume these are clan symbols & all his carvings have the same pattern burned into the bottom of which I have seen seven. Best! Steve M.
