I bought this set for an exceptionally low price and I\'m passing the savings on.

When I first began selling on more years ago than I care to count, fake Hopi jewelry mass produced in California was rampant primarily because Japanese and many American collectors as well bought so much Hopi work, and was the principle online source for Native American jewelry. When those segments of buyers discovered the fakery, both legitimate and fake Hopi and Hopi style work virtually disappeared. These online fakes so damaged Hopi artists that Gallup traders estimate that more 75% of them left the business, and most haven\'t returned.

The Kokopelli is an ancient Hopi Kachina (the Hopi word is actually katsina) humpbacked spirit who wandered from village playing flute songs to corn plants to help make them grow and to bring rain. He was also reputed to be quite a ladies man, and the ancient Hopi religions from thousands of years ago teaches that the Kokopelli was was an extraterrestrial.

This set features the Hopi brush finish which is an even and somewhat lighter finish than the vintage or old pawn style sterling silver finish.

Laid end to end, the sterling silver link necklace is 21\" long with center four sided contoured Kokopelli and ancient storms designs focal bead measuring 1¼\" by 1 and 1/16th\" with this length adding to the overall length when worn. The two 1¼\" by /16ths\"triangular beads also feature lightning and storm designs.

The matching triangular brush finish sterling silver post earrings both also measure1¼\" by /16ths\",\" and the posts are located about 1/8th\" from the top of the earrings.
