HUMMEL 1992 \'CROSSROADS SPECIAL EDITION Nbr 3047\' FIGURINE
This is a very hard to find, three piece HUMMEL \'CROSSROADS\'SPECIAL MILITARY LIMITED EDITIONFIGURINE by Goebel in appreciation of the U.S. Military\'s role in the preservation of peace and freedom. Released in 1992, thisfigurine depicts two young boys standing at a crossroad sign signaling \'Halt\'. One sign points East and one West with a portion of the Berlin Wall demolished.
The oval wood display base features a brass plate that reads: \'With esteem and grateful appreciation to the United States Military Forces for the preservation of Peace and Freedom\'.
The attention to detail and craftsmanship is simply stunning. This three pieceHUMMEL SPECIAL \'CROSSROADS\' MILITARY EDITIONFIGURINEwas released in 1992 and limited to 20,000 editions worldwide. This figurine isnumber 3047 and the box is stamped with the identical 3047 limited edition number.
It stands 5.5\" (14cm) tall and 6\" (15.24cm) long. While previously displayed, it is in virtually mint condition with no chips, dings, nicks, cracks, breakage or repairs. It does have very minor wear on the bottom of the baseas shown from being displayed. Otherwise, this figurine is in mint, like new condition. It will be shipped in its original box (the box shows the expected wear from age).
