SHIRLEY TEMPLE BLACK WAS A BELOVED CHILD-HOOD AMERICAN ACTRESS. SHE CHEERED THE AMERICAN PUBLIC DURING THE GREAT DEPRESSION WITH HER PRECOCIOUS CURLS AND TAP DANCING. IN FACT, THE LITTLE SIX YEAR OLD WAS SOULY RESPONSIBLE FOR SAVING 20TH CENTURY FOX MOVIE STUDIOS FROM GOING BANKRUPT!

BORN IN 1928, SHE EVENTUALLY BECAME A US DELEGATE TO THE UNITED NATIONS. SHE ALSO BECAME AMBASSADOR TO THE REPULBIC OF GHANA, AS WELL AS THE CZECH AND SLOVAK FEDERAL REPUBLICS!

A real pretty Shirley Temple doll with shiny-blond mohair wig with sausage curls intact (one of the highlights of this doll)! Originalred, silkhair ribbon intact!

Beautiful, even composition, like it just came off the shelf!

Shirley’s crisp dress is bright-candy red, sprinkled with stars! Her Peter Pan collar is trimmed with looped embroidery. Her puffy sleeves and bodice is also accented with looped embroidery. Her neckline is embellished with a red, silk bow. Her dress is crisply tagged number 16 inside the rear dress seam.

Her velvet coat is tagged, \"Genuine Shirley Temple Doll, Ideal Novelty Toy Co.\", below the rear, center neckline. It has two gold, metal buttons in the front, with a square snap at the neckline. It’s enhanced with two fake pockets. The fabric is a nice even color with no fading, or holes, etc.

Her matching velvet hat is tagged number 16 inside of it and is very nice as well.

Her onsie is super crisp, trimmed in Belgium Val Lace.It\'s tagged number 16 in the rear.

Original, leatherette, ecru-colored, center-snap, ST shoes in excellent condition! Original tight, ecru-colored, red-striped, nylon socks!

Full upper, sable-colored, human-hair lashes! Bright, lower painted lashes. Unfaded, feathered eyebrows. Eye open-shut mechanism works very nicely. Dark hazel eyes have started to crystallize. Accented nostrils and original lip color.

Over-all excellent composition with very little, or no crazing! Adorable dimples and cupped fingers (like she wants to hold your hand)!

16 IN/40.64CM in height, five-piece composition body. The nape of her head is stamped clearly in raised letters, \"Shirley Temple, Ideal\". Her back is also stamped in raised letters, \"Shirley Temple\", with the number 16.
