An interesting little carving of a duck by an unknown artist. The top two-thirds of the duck, the head and chest, lift up on hinge to reveal a little box space. The hinge is wood. The eyes are inlaid. In very good condition except for what looks like a small scuff or burn mark on the tail area. Please see the close up. Measures approximately 5 inches long by 2 inches wide x 2.75 inches tall.
