Offered here is an excellent example of the classic American Streamline \"Cobraā€¯ lamp. Although commonly attributed to Norman Bel Geddes, J.O. Reinecke is listed as the designer on patent filed with USPO in 1946. Given the patent filing date, this lamp was most likely designed and produced prior to WWII.



This lamp has been fully restored and all external parts have professionally chrome plated. The original bulb reflector attachment is present. The pushbutton switch has been replaced with new old stock of the same kind. Original bakelite bulb socket has been replaced new like kind. The power cord has been replaced with reproduction rayoncovered type and new reproduction bakelite style plug.New felt has been applied to the bottom of the base.



This lamp accepts a standard edison light bulb(not included).
