Ikebana Oval Pottery Vase Bowl Ochre Glaze w/ Recessed Base Japanese Modern Art:

Ikebana shallow bowl or vase with an ochre or dark mustard,

semi gloss glaze; color is similar to a new clay pot. Base is

recessed & there is a notch incenter of one long side, while

notch onopposite side is off center. Do not know age,

but likely contemporary.

Glaze slightly thins at top edge. Two labels on inside bottom.

Light impression of numbers on underside: 10-150.

Approximate Size:

12.5” long x 6.75” wide x 3” high

Bowl is 1.75” deep.

Condition:

No chips, cracks or breaks. Very clean with a few faint water

marks on interior. A few glaze flaws.Top edge is slightly uneven.

Please note: small imperfections may result from the pottery

making & glazing process that are not considered damage.
