The Irish Dresden company was established in 1962 in Ireland. The company’s history began as Muller & Company in 1907 in Volkstedt, Thuringia, in Prussia. The factory was destroyed in World War II. Old molds were salvaged from the cellars beneath the ruins.

The family was forced to relocate after the war and rebuilt in Dromcolliher, County Limerick. Descendants of the Muller family retained control.

The Swan measures 3 inches tall and 5 inches long.
