The length is45 inches to the junction point on the handle and then rises to 48 inches at its top.. It isaprox. 1 1/4 inches in diameter. Avery sturdy and solid stick for hill walking or support.There is a ferrulewith an irish coin mounted to the tipof this stick.A wonderful gift for any occasion. Finished to the natural color, purpleish/brown/mahogony.A fairly straight hunk of wood with character in the bumps that run its length. The length of a walking stick is measured from the flor to your wrist but I prefer them to be longer. A real heirloom from emerald isle walking sticks

It takes 1 day to finish 2 sticks, it takes 1 day to find and cut about 15 sticks, it takes a year to dry them and it costs me about20 dollars to send them to the states. This sale is for the stick in the picture.
