Originally purchased directly from the artist in 1977 according to the correspondence letters between the artist and the buyer. Along with this incredible painting included a brochure detailing a history of the artist up until the time of purchase and personnel letters between the artist and the buyer from 1977. The painting measures approximately 19-1/2 x 13-1/2 inches and framed it measures 18-1/2 x 24. It is an oil painting on board and has been well cared for over the years with the only flaw being a small scuff near the center of the painting that is only noticeable up close. The painting was glued in the frame also and is a bit loose but sturdy. I know a painting by this artist has recently sold on for 200 but this painting is the best example of this artists work I\'ve seen. Along with the letters of provenance I\'m firm at my asking price. I\'ve recently acquired this piece and I\'m looking for a place to hang it so if your interested I wouldn\'t hesitate. Thanks for your interest.
