Israel Medal celebrating the Chiefs of Staff: Dori, Rabin, and Moshe Dayan. These three appear in a heroic trio pose on the obverse, and on the reverse is the inscription: \"Peace Be Within Thy Walls.\" Dayan is widely regarded as a military hero in Israeli history. His iconic eye-patch is clearly visible in the medal.The medal is bronze, and it is large--58 mm in diameter. There is some mottling on the surfaces. I have found the medal on the web in silver, but have not encountered it in bronze, so this issue must be a bit rare.If I owned this medal, I would polish it up with metal polish and it would look grand.Grading:
