Italian / French School, The Moneylenders, 18th/19th Century Fine Antique Oil PaintingA fine late 18th or early 19th century Continental School, probably Italian oil on panel depicting a pair of money-lenders with a cleric and soldiers in attendance within a temple.An interesting and unusual oil on panel, perhaps referring to the Bible story, well painted in a vibrant palette and with fine detail.
