This is a pair of J. Wiss & Son early Tailor\'s Shears \"N\" Pattern. They are approximately 12.5 inches long and weigh slightly over 1.5 pounds. The following ad is the closest match to the pair listed. It is from page 13 of a J. Wiss catalogue of 1917. The shears up for sale may be from an earlier date as they are lighter weight and slightly shorter than those available in the catalogue. The name of the Chicago tailor that used these scissors is stamped in to the metal (see pic #6). These shears are antiques with wear due to age and use (see pics). Thanks for looking!
