This figurine was given as a gift in the early 70\'s.It is bronze and the faces are \"ivorine\" or celluloid inserts and are hand painted. The bronze is 8 in. side toside,5 in. tall without the ball, 3 in. front to back. The ball is about 3.25 in. The condition is excellent.There are no makers marks which is typical of these items. The crystal ball is also in fine condition. This is not a lamp.The following is what the I found out in forums but please verify the item yourself online or through yourantique friends. \"Some call these \"Gerdagos\". J.B. Hirsch Foundry made them in the 60\'s and 70\'s but some areolder.\" \"I have seen one of these recently, cannot remember if it was on . The figures and the finish aremost probably from the Hirsch Foundry in NYC and they were making these items from old molds they had from theoriginal French foundries, especially from the 60s to late 70\'s which may tie in to when you got yours.\" Feel free to ask questions before offerding.
